FINAL FANTASY XV Multiplayer expansion delayed to Early November

If you were looking forward to playing Final Fantasy XV‘s multiplayer, you will have to wait a bit more unfortunately.

On their twitter account the developers announced that because extra adjustments and to ensure the best possible experience, the expansion will be released sometime in early November.

On another note, the expansion got a price bump from 1,500 yens to 1,980 yens which roughly translates to 17.5 USD, currently there is no words in regards to how this will apply to the western release.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Final Fantasy XV patch 1.16 adds new story content

The lastest patch for Final Fantasy XV the first of upcomings free story updates that the publisher teased the game will received.

This story updates introduces a new sequence in chapter 12 of the game that explains the events that led to the War of the Astrals as well as characters feelings and the world.

This update also concludes the Moogle Chocobo Carnival, adds two fishes and fixes bugs from the Assasin’s Festival and various other bugs from the main game.

The patch is available to download at 4.306 GB on PlayStation 4 and 7.37 GB on XBOX One.

Final Fantasy XV multiplayer expansion gets a release date and new trailer

At Tokyo Game Show, Square-Enix released a new trailer featuring the upcoming multiplayer expansion for Final Fantasy XV.

In this expansion players will set foot as a survivor from Kingsglaive to find out more about the disappearance of Noctis after the events in Chapter 13 from the main game.

As members of Kingsglaive, players will be able to equip royal sigils that grant special powers from the Lucian bloodline. Players can then strategize and create a balanced team to take on a variety of quests. In addition to multiplayer quests, single player quests are also available for players to enhance their characters.

Other members of Noctis’s crew including Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis will be made playable in future game updates.

FINAL FANTASY XV MULTIPLAYER EXPANSION: COMRADES will be available to players who purchased Final Fantasy XV and the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass or Final Fantasy XV MULTIPLAYER EXPANSION: COMRADES standalone expansion. It also requires a subscription to an Xbox Live Gold membership or a PlayStation®Plus subscription. Internet connection is also required to access this content.
